Bill guides
Build a bill calendar Start small and keep every date reviewable.
Add the next bill you can verify. Record its amount, due date, and frequency, then confirm it appears on the calendar.
- Begin with one known bill.
- Use the provider statement as the source of truth.
- Review the calendar before adding more.
Recurring bills and subscriptions Track both, but review them differently.
A recurring bill is any repeating obligation. A subscription is a recurring bill tied to continued access to a product or service.
- Keep required obligations visible on the calendar.
- Review optional subscriptions for continued value.
- Exclude an item instead of deleting its useful history.
Autopay is not payment proof Confirm the result, not only the instruction.
Autopay means a provider intends to collect a payment. A decline, expired card, or changed account can still prevent completion.
- Keep the bill marked as autopay for context.
- Confirm the provider or bank completed the payment.
- Correct the calendar status if the evidence differs.
Choose reminder timing Leave enough time to act before the due date.
Use same-day reminders for awareness and an earlier reminder when you may need to transfer money, update a card, or contact a provider.
- Choose the smallest useful lead time.
- Respect quiet hours and the bill's timezone.
- Keep notifications actionable instead of repetitive.

What Bill Calendar stores
Guest bills stay in this browser. When you sign in and choose server sync, bill schedules, payment evidence, notification preferences, and account details are stored for your account.
Analytics retention
Allowlisted product analytics events are retained for no more than 90 days. Analytics can be disabled in account preferences when that control is available.
Bank connections
Bank credentials are entered into Plaid Link and are not collected by Bill Calendar. Plaid access tokens are encrypted at rest on the server and are never returned by the connected-bank API.
Your controls
You can sync bills, disconnect a bank, disable device notifications, or request account deletion from Profile. Deletion disconnects banks and cancels Stripe subscriptions without an automatic refund; App Store billing continues until you cancel it in Apple settings.
Free service advertising
All Free accounts are advertisement-supported. Premium removes advertisements while active. We do not ask for a separate agreement merely to display ads in the Free service; applicable consent controls remain governed by ad-provider and regional requirements.

Calendar estimates
Bill dates, totals, reminders, bank-detected candidates, and insights are organizational estimates. They are not bank balances, payment instructions, financial advice, or a guarantee that a payment occurred.
Your responsibility
You are responsible for reviewing bill details, imported candidates, payment evidence, and automatic past-due status before relying on them. Keep your account credentials secure and use the service lawfully.
Subscriptions and ads
The Free service displays advertisements. Premium features and ad removal last only while a valid entitlement is active. Billing, renewal, cancellation, refund, and store rules depend on the checkout provider shown to you.
Availability
We may change or discontinue features and supported bank connections. Offline edits can wait in this browser until connectivity returns, so confirm that queued changes finish syncing.
