Bill Calendar support

Find the safest next step for common account, bill, subscription, reminder, and connection questions.

Contact support

Email support@bill-calendar.com with the device or browser, the feature you were using, what you expected, what happened, and the approximate time. A screenshot is useful only after private data has been hidden.

Never email: a password, verification or reset link, bank credential, Plaid access token, full account number, full payment-card number, or government identifier. Bill Calendar support will not ask for those secrets.

Account access

I cannot sign in

Confirm that you are using the intended username and current password. If password recovery is available, enter the account email address, request one new link, and use the newest message; older links may no longer be valid. Check spam or filtered folders. Do not forward the recovery link to support.

I changed devices or browsers

Guest bills stay in the browser where they were created. They do not automatically appear on another device. Bills that were successfully saved to the server while signed in can be restored through the same account. If an offline edit was still queued, return to the original browser and verify that syncing completes before relying on another device.

Bills, dates, and payment status

A recurring bill date or amount looks wrong

Compare the entry with the current provider statement. Correct the next occurrence and recurrence rather than relying on an old estimate. If the bill came from a connected-bank candidate, review its source and edit or exclude it as appropriate. Provider statements control.

An old item appears paid automatically

Automatic past-due status is an organizational behavior for historical calendar items; it is not evidence that money moved. Check the provider or financial institution before relying on the status for a balance, late fee, dispute, or other consequential decision. See Autopay is not payment proof.

I deleted or excluded the wrong item

First check whether the item is in an Excluded section rather than deleted. Avoid creating several duplicates while sync status is unclear. If the service does not provide recovery for the action, recreate the bill from the authoritative statement and contact support with safe details if the behavior appears incorrect.

Notifications and reminders

A reminder did not arrive

Confirm the bill date and reminder setting, then check device notification permission, browser permission, focus or quiet modes, time zone, and network state. Notifications are a convenience and may be delayed or unavailable, so retain a weekly calendar review as a backstop. The reminder timing guide explains how to make each alert actionable.

Premium and subscriptions

How do I manage an App Store subscription?

Use Apple subscription settings under the Apple ID that made the purchase. Deleting the Bill Calendar app or account does not cancel an Apple subscription.

Premium did not appear after purchase

Verify that the purchase completed with the checkout provider and that you are signed into the intended Bill Calendar account. Allow the provider confirmation to finish, then refresh the account state. If access remains missing, send support the provider name, approximate purchase time, and a redacted receipt identifier—never a full card number.

Connected-bank features

A bank will not connect or needs attention

Availability depends on Plaid, the institution, region, verified account status, and Premium eligibility. Follow the reconnect prompt if one appears. Enter bank credentials only inside the trusted Plaid or financial-institution flow, never in Bill Calendar support email.

How do I disconnect?

Use the available Bank Center controls and confirm the resulting status. You can also review connections through the Plaid Portal. Disconnection does not cancel bills or services with the provider represented by a transaction.

Privacy and account deletion

Current controls let you update or delete individual bills, disable account analytics, change available notification preferences, sign out, revoke supported sessions, disconnect an eligible bank connection, manage synced account data, and request permanent account deletion in Profile. Account deletion requires confirmation, revokes sessions, and schedules server-side cleanup. For account-level access, correction, or deletion assistance, email support@bill-calendar.com; identity verification may be required. External subscriptions must be canceled separately. Read the Privacy Policy for retention and provider details.

Accessibility and editorial feedback

For an accessibility barrier, include the page, device or browser, assistive technology if you choose to share it, and the action you could not complete. For a guide correction, link the article and identify the statement. Do not include personal financial details. We use this information to reproduce the issue and improve the content or interface.

Before sending a support request

  1. Write down the page and action.
  2. Record the approximate time and time zone.
  3. Retry once after confirming connectivity and account state.
  4. Remove secrets and unrelated personal information.
  5. Email the remaining safe details to support.
